Aaron has a blast visiting schools! His presentations are hilarious, hands-on, and highly interactive! Looking for the kind of author visit that will get your kids laughing, learning, reading more than ever, and talking about it for months to come? Aaron has dynamic presentations for kids of all ages, PreK through 6th grade.
Presentations
Aaron is constantly developing new presentations as new books come out, but here is a sampling of the presentations Aaron is currently offering. Presentations for 2nd grade and older are approximately 60 minutes. PreK-1st grade presentations run about 30 minutes.

GET READY FOR CREEPY CRAYON! This presentation explores the surprising behind-the-scenes facts of how the Caldecott-Honor winning CREEPY CARROTS started as an unexpected hit and became an award-winning series. Perfect for K-2nd grade.
THE QUEST FOR AMAZING CHAPTER BOOKS!
Aaron reveals how being a kid who hated books inspired him to create hilarious and darkly funny chapter books that 5th-grade Aaron would have loved to read! The newest FART QUEST and THE INCREDIBLY DEAD PETS OF REX DEXTER books will be explored to help transform reluctant readers into voracious bookworms! Designed with 2nd through 6th grade in mind.
AUTHOR INSPIRATION!
Through a highly interactive and fast-paced presentation, kids will explore little-known facts about how, where and what Aaron writes! They’ll discover unknown tidbits about what it’s like to really be an author, see sneak previews of upcoming books, and realized that being an author might just be the coolest career they never considered! Ideal for 4th-6th grades.
Fees
A visit consists of up to three presentations in the morning, plus a book signing.
Within the Chicago Area: $4500 per day
Outside the Chicago Area: $4900 per day - includes all travel expenses (two-day minimum requested)
Virtual Visits: One Presentation: $1500 Up to Three Presentations in a single day: $3000
